The first of the Willow Tree Angels, the artist states that this beautiful figurine of a female angel tenderly holding a little bird was a product of her intuition, and as such it is open to the interpretation of the viewer; the cradling of the bird could represent protection, comfort or healing, but it was designed as a metaphor for the rejuvenation of our inner soul's vulnerabilities.
