Post Box Miniature Clock

Royal Mail and Historic England recently launched a new commitment to preserve the character and heritage of England’s post boxes, recognizing that they are cherished local landmarks.

• There are around 115,300 of them nationwide.

The first free-standing post boxes were installed in the Channel Islands in 1852 and extended to mainland Britain in 1853.
